For that wee cross-section of people who listen to podcasts, have a bunch of spare time right now, and are also REALLY curious what it's like working for Devolver, a bunch of the team did a mega interview with some fun behind-the-scenes stories

Thank you, I fully thought it was some movie bull π
It's been decades since this film came out, and yeah there are some silly/dated references, and most of the daytime CG might look a bit of its time, but otherwise it stands up - worth a rewatch for those old-school feels
"It's a Unix system, I know this" (proceeds to deal with a 3D system that has never existed)
Now the dinos look weirdly naked : "feathered theory" might be recent but it now feels clear that dinosaurs probably didn't have roasted chicken physiques
Also have to appreciate all the short-shorts worn by every gender - this film has something scary and titilating for everyone
Movies of this era straddled a finer line between ridiculous and believable than today - I appreciate the faux-science silliness of 90's films to the "well this would never happen but whatever" truthiness of modern films
The way the toilet perfectly collapses outwards from the scumbag lawyer, who for some reason has down-troused and throne straddled while running from a T-Rex is *chef-kiss*
When you gotta go, you gotta go
Bunnahabhain is my go to - smokey, small batch, impossible to pronounce (Bun-a-halve-ann)
Ah ah ah, you didn't say the magic word
Watching Jurassic Park (the original) and drinking whisky. Love me some Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Richard Attenborough, Samuel M. Jackson, dinosaurs & Bunnahabhain
My weirdest creation is almost old enough to drink.
Seriously, Vampire Crawlers is well good, you need to play the demo!
Oh yeah, last week I wrote a thing about the recent high court ruling on bathroom access in the UK for trans folks, and what #videogame studios need to be aware of going forward.
It is a Shit Situation though..

A copy of the book Perfect Organism: The Assembly Cut by Andy Kelly. The illustration on the cover shows a blood trail in a dark sci-fi ventilation system. A device with a glowing green screen lies on the ground.
Three tiny figures spacewalking outside a space station with a gas giant looming in the distance.
Blood splatters on the floor and an ominous shadow.
Someone watches through a vent as a figure brutally smashes the head of another figure into a wall.

Side note: In Google Meet we discovered that, unlike all other emojis that randomly float up the screen, when you select the Crab emoji reaction it does an adorable crab walk across the screen. Literal army of crabs emojis, on-screen every time this is mentioned in Devolver team meetings
One of those few moments in TV history that even to this day gives me goosebumps and has me cheering out loud at the sheer audacity - BSG was peak

One of the wickedest things Wes Streeting has ever done is push politically convenient falsehoods about suicide rates amongst young trans people. We have new data from the National Child Mortality Database that exposes the truth he tried to cover up.
Guessing they'll no be selling this in Scotland πππ
