A vibrant Eurasian siskin perched on a slender, budding branch of an alder tree, surrounded by small, brown pine-cone-like catkins. The bird features striking yellow and olive-green plumage with dark streaks along its flanks and a subtle grey cap.

An Eurasian Siskin, is captured hanging upside down from a thin, frost-dusted branch. The bird is focused on extracting seeds from a cluster of dark brown, cone-like alder catkins. Its plumage features distinctive black and white streaks along its wings and tail.
