Stay sober. The atrocities of this moment can not be healed with a drink. The answers are not at the bottom of a bottle. The sobriety you fought so hard to have is worth holding on to.
Call your sponsor if you have one. There are online meetings you can attend. Talk to someone.
Keep fighting!
I'm not familiar with either of these sources, but I am familiar with the VA as a veteran.

UPDATE: @startribune.com reports that state records show Alex Pretti, the 37-year-old U.S. Citizen executed by ICE agents this morning in Minneapolis, was issued a nursing license in 2021, and it remains active through March 2026.

UPDATE: @dropsitenews.com has obtained the very graphic video from the lady in the pink coat, which shows ICE executing yet another person in broad daylight:
A little over a week ago, my ex-wife had a very serious medical emergency and ended up in the hospital, septic. She is home but has a long recovery ahead of her and is going to need some significant help so that she can keep things running while she recovers. Posting links in the comments. Thanks!
I mean I really don't have to spend money anywhere. Hilton is now on the list of do not use.
Mad Sisters of Esi by Tashan Mehta just knocked Jasmine Throne out of my to 5 books ever. I will post a full review soon, but it is deep, dark, filled with longing and chaotic and lovely and comforting. It is a book worth investing time in #ππ #πͺπ
We often talk about the good we would do if we had billions of dollars like the 1%. But we should be talking about how much good we could do if we fought together. Come be a part of our community and help us fight for marginalized authors.

JAMES MERRILL CHRISTMAS TREE From loes torn hamin Had been fed, looked after, kept still, Meant, I knewβ of course I knew - That it would be only a matter of weeks, That there was nothing more to do. Warmly they took me in, made much of me, The point from the start was to keep my spirits up. I could assent to that. For honestly, It did help to be wound in jewels, to send Their colors flashing forth from vents in the deep Fragrant sables that cloaked me head to foot. Over me then they wove a spell of shining β Purple and silver chains, eavesdripping tinsel, Amulets, milagros: software of silver, A heart, a little girl, a Model T Two staring eyes. Then angels, trumpets, BUD and BEA (The children's names) in clownlike capitals, Somewhere a music box whose tiny song Played and replayed I ended before long By loving. And in shadow behind me, a primitive IV To keep the show going. Yes, yes, what lay ahead Was clear: the stripping, the cold street, my chemicals Plowed back into the Earth for lives to come β No doubt a blessing, a harvest, but one that doesn't bear, Now or ever, dwelling upon. To have grown so thin. Needles and bone. The little boy's hands meeting About my spine. The mother's voice: Holding up wonderfully! No dread. No bitterness. The end beginning. Today's Dusk room aglow For the last time With candlelight. Faces love-lit, Gifts underfoot. Still to be so poised, so Receptive. Still to recall, to praise.
James Merrilβs poem βChristmas Tree,β written while he was dying of AIDS. 1995.

Ugh finished A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping last night, and just so many tears...the multiple autistic characters. The multiple characters dealing with trauma and feelings. The healing and the power of people seeing you when you can't see yourself. π just so wonderful. #ππ
We lost a truly amazing leader. RIP Alice Wong.
2) all the wayward children series (what happens to kids who come back from a portal adventure), she of the mountains (stunning, queer coming of age sort of), Serviceberry (reciprocal economy...HOPE), time's agent (sapphic pocket dimensions), Rose/House (sci fi locked door)
I could go on forever
I don't understand the gif, but I have a ton of short recs part 1: sisters of the vast black (nuns in space with a sentient ship), a mimicking of known successes (sapphic Sherlock in space), gliff (dystopian ugh so good and hard), butcher of the forest (grim fairy tale)
Further confirmation that Tr*mp owns the Supreme Court, who are complicit with him starving Americans.
The level of evil on display is mind-boggling
They think we hold our leaders as sacred as they do theirs. This is one of the worst, but in a similar vein is "but Bill Clinton is in the Epstein files"...Like so what? If he's in there we hold him accountable too. Truth is my first loyalty, justice and equity my second.
NO KINGS DAY!!!!! When people tell the king what they think of him and he pretends they really hate their own country.
The layers! The layers! It's probably because I occasionally get caught on those finding your relatives videos and that one ex-mormon influencer who is super interesting.

Just got deseret Book ad. An app that promises no surprise spice and curated "clean" romance. Tag line "join your proper romance era".
Slut shaming is in I guess.
just call them close door romances and stop defining your romance as the morally correct type.

Same! I started it earlier in the year, but wasn't where I needed to be to read it. When it came around again, I was ready and seriously probably going to be in my top 5 of all time if it keeps it up.

Image of audio book app showing Luminous by Silvia Park. Progress mark is at 64 percent. part 4 - Chapter 30.
I have a few books I'm reading for an upcoming author conversation I get to HOST. (Still not over this) But Luminous by Silvia Park has me by the throat so I'm reading that instead.
The human on robot crime has me hoping for an unusual robots win storyline over a Black Beauty ending.
