3D Blender render made by me, of characters and an enviroment based on the book my husband and best friend are writing! It's a clearing in some magical woods, with Mara and Realle, the protagonists, in the middle of the clearing under the most magical and biggest tree in the woods. The biggest tree is like a weeping willow, it has crystals growing on its leaves, it has the most glowing runes in its bark as well. The other trees in the woods are tinier and like pines, also with magic runes but less of them and they glow less, their barks and leaves are a darker green. There's magic crystals scattered on the clearing, together with some rocks, and there is a river passing through on the side. Mara is tanned skinned, shorter than Raelle, brunette with pigtails, and burgundy clothes, she rests her head on Raelle's shoulder- Raelle is taller, she has a lighter/fair skin, she is blonde, and she wears light gold clothes

One Year Progress <3
I picked up Blender for the first time exactly one year ago. Before that time the only art I'd ever done was writing and poetry.
I had no idea that one day I'd be able to make stuff like this. I'm excited to see where another year of learning art will take me.
