I don't know if age just changes what your tastes are, but wow, do I love hot dogs.
Didn't care about hot dogs, but now...I crave hot dogs. Too bad there are no good hot dog places near me.
I should probably give like a little review or something.
It caught me off guard. Full of beautiful, classical music featuring my two favorite instruments, the piano & the violin.
So much feeling & emotion that can be hard to express, but can be felt through music.
I loved it.
Living vicariously through anime.
Just finished "Your Lie In April"...
Keep playing those last five minutes of the last episode
for no reason in particular.
I think so. Every time I went in to see the doctor for a follow up, when I was on dialysis, they asked about my vision. So I think you're right.
A weird side effect I didn't anticipate from getting a kidney transplant, is that my vision got better.
Like, things are still blurry, but not so blurry that I can't read it. It really freaked me out this morning when I looked at my phone & noticed I wasn't wearing my glasses.
So, I anticipated watching two hours of a man just eating dinner, when I realized I misread the title.
#Superman was a pretty good superhero movie with an established world that didn't hold your hand. I think this is the most vulnerable Superman too.
A good time at the cinema!
Next anime on the list looks to be Your Lie In April.
That first season of Frieren was sensational. A literal 10 out of 10. Barely kept my eyes dry that whole time.
Probably one of the three or four shows I'd want to watch again and again. A comfort anime I would say.
I've never attended a barbecue for a holiday. It's always just some random day in the summer. I feel like I'm doing these holidays wrong.
That's the episode I just finished!!!!!
That blindsided me!
I'm only watching a couple episodes a day, but I might have to binge.
It's TOO good.
You know exactly what I'm talking about. It just comes at you from left field and then boom!! Feels.
I didn't know what to expect from the show, and then all of these character driven things keep happening and it's like the show knows right where to poke.
Halfway through this first season of Frieren and seriously, it needs to stop hitting me in the gut with these emotions.
SERIOUSLY!!
Finished what's there of Spy x Family & I'm invested. I see why this show is beloved. It's wholesome & comedic, with a sprinkle of romance & bloody action. I kind of need more now.
I also get why people seem to love Yor so much. Same bro, same. Yuri though...
Now, onto Frieren.
I have to sadly confess that I'm the audience for nostalgia bait.
I think I've pretty much given up listening to mainstream music for video game/gatcha music.
I'm noticing ads that advertise some kind of unrelated service for someone then ends with that person experiencing a meet cute.
Is that how you sell a service? Insinuate you'll get a date if you use it?
Only 9 episodes in on Spy x Family, but its weirdly wholesome & frustrating at the same time. Not a bad frustrating. There seems to some foreshadowing & that funny, weird mix of killing & comedy.
I need the inevitable romance to move along faster.
Unless it doesn't...😢
Started Spy Family and thanks to some recommendations, I know what comes after that. But only two episodes in and its already quirky and charming. Hope its like that all the way through.
I hear so much love for this. I have it in my queue. I ended up going to Spy Family, but its not too many episodes, so I can definitely jump onto Frieren and find out what all the hype is about.
I've seen two of the seasons, so I have to watch the rest for sure. Same with Attack on Titan, for some reason I stopped after a few seasons for whatever reason. Gotta finish both!
Okay. Expedition 33 was incredible. I finished the game, but I'm sure I missed a LOT of side quests and camp interactions. Still, the overall story and the ending (which I experienced the different endings and definitely have a preference), was...well, I can't say anything. 10/10
Finished Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood and it was fantastic. I understand why people hold it in such high regard. It's like, 64 episodes, and the last third is just a nonstop rollercoaster ride.
So now I'm ready to go in head first into another series. Any recommendations?!

After just being a slave to Hoyoverse games, I'm finally playing something new. Tales of Arise is fun so far, though I'm still in what's probably the intro chapter. The controls are janky though.
