These are awesome. I remember thinking a game with the big sprites from the sonic pocket adventure menus would've been cool (not including the miscolored legs)
Sonic team went all the way to South America to source textures for Sonic Adventure. I even remember magazines calling out how good SA2's jungle textures were. I think a lot of this is true for the previous generation as well, the resolution and color depth just made them more unrealistic.
I have watched clips of the show you speak of, and while overall very little adult swim content has appealed to me, somehow I find something amusing about it (not high). It's a very strange brand of cringe.
When you said nearly two decades I thought... Surely you must mean waiting for something specifically within the game because it couldn't be nearly two decades since the last Prime game.... 😲🤯
I like how the suggestion is that not upgrading enough is costing us in productivity. So they're admitting our productivity has been skyrocketing for the last 30 years but we're not getting paid enough to buy the things we need to exponentially increase our productivity for the next 30.
