Frankly, I don't share that sentiment at all. I like many Americans knowing them on a personal level.

Though, I really think that the tribal behavior in political matters is a problem - especially when brainlessly repeating stupidities. However, that goes beyond the US unfortunately...

The quote 'Every country has the government it deserves.' is currently echoing in my brain over and over again.

I am not a fan of the idea but yet there seems to be some truth to it.

Why does it keep echoing? Well Orange-Utan for one - but also that the EU has again failed with Mercosur etc

Kvantify Drug discovery platform

For all attending the #SC25 conference. If you are into #quantum and #quantumcomputing for #chemistry/#compchem:

Kvantify's Qrunch for chemistry on quantum computers just got publicly available: www.kvantify.com/blog/danish-...

Come and drop by the AWS booth #2207 between 2pm and 6pm :)

I have just signed up for #SC25. Looking forward to visiting St. Louis and the scientific program, but also talking #HPC and especially #quantumcomputing with many of the world leading manufacturers.

Super Artikel - das Detail mit dem "Frisâer" ist besonders gelungen. In diesem Sinne - bin schon mal auf die SoMe Kommentare gespannt. Da weiß ich nie ob ich lachen oder weinen soll.

I like your illustrations as it illustrates the AE conceptually. For me the difference seems to be mostly about whether you want to emphasize the conceptual or the actual - basically the "what" and the "how". The NN illustrations put emphasis on how you can do it practically

In this article we describe different ways of encoding vibrational wave functions on a fault tolerant quantum computer. While this has been done before the size and scale of experiments are beyond previous work and some of the strategies we discuss have not been used in this context before

Two points:

1) Of course QC is not anywhere near solving real problems more (economically) efficiently than classical compute, but useful results may be obtained

2) We are currently looking for beta-users for our API - at the cost of providing us feedback. Shoot me a message if you are interested

Welcome! You are invited to join a webinar: Using quantum computing for the simulation of butyronitrile dissociation. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the webinar... Join us for an in-depth look at how Kvantify’s Quantum Development Kit (QDK), running on IQM Resonanceβ€”the first quantum computer purpose-built for chemistryβ€”is enabling powerful molecular simulations...

Not completely personal post, but yet somehow anyways (since I love #quantum, #compchem and #quantumcomputing):

We (i.e. the company I work for: Kvantify) show in an upcoming webinar hosted by IQM how quantum computers are easily accessible for chemical calculations: meetiqm.zoom.us/webinar/regi...

Gave a talk in Copenhagen yesterday at a small scientific conference on quantum computing with great attendees. It was an interesting experience after so many years out of touch with "my field". Hope to deepen the interaction in the future.

Below is the part of the presentation I am most proud of:

After a very long time it is finally peer reviewed and out:

The preprint (arxiv.org/abs/2408.11091) is from last August and (v1) not that different from the published version. For some reason I always get content-fatigue when it comes to the final touches.

Politics is a strange thing - and I feel I am missing a basic nugget of education here. Why is it that on a personal level it mostly does not matter where people come from and we get along just fine - but as soon as we start building and thinking in groups (tribes, countries etc) it turns to πŸ’©
