At just under 40' tall Iron Creek Falls may not be the largest of waterfalls but it's still a pretty cool place. There's a small parking area and a trail that leads to the base.

Do it. It will be crazy but is worth the planning and hassle.
Came here to say ^^^ this
The proper term is βallow listβ
There was a time when βconcentration campβ didnβt have a universally negative connotation. Iβm willing to bet decades into our future βimmigration detention centersβ will have that same negative association.
Yeah, thatβs not an uncommon way to handle cheaters. Yβall had spygate and deflategate and then cry about being mistreated? Cope harder.
I treat my photos like I do productionβ¦3 copies on 3 tiers. Tier 1 is nvme on my PC, Tier 2 is SATA SSD on a second PC, Tier 3 is in the cloud.
A spraybow arcs below Tumalo Falls like a fleeting ribbon of color born from the waterfallβs mist, its translucent bands glowing against the evergreens and basalt cliffs; close enough to touch but made of water and light, it forms when sunlight pierces the plume of spray, scattering into delicate hues that shift with the wind, the angle of the sun, and the perspective of the viewer.
#TumaloFalls is a 90' waterfall a few miles outside #BendOR. I plan my waterfall trips around the best time of day and year to be able to capture the #spraybow and my planning paid off this time.

Gold Creek Pond is a short drive from I-90 in central Washington state and there are hiking trails both easy (flat, paved trail around the pond) as well as some moderate hiking towards Rampart Falls and Alaska Mountain.
Gold Creek Pond near Snoqualmie Pass, WA is one place I have been to many times. In winter or spring the snow on the mountains provides some great contrast while summer and fall allow the vibrant colors of an alpine lake to show up.

Embrace them. Be mad at the folks that voted for this shit, not the folks who joined you in voting against Trump.
It may be misplaced anger at 2.4 million 3rd party voters instead of 77 million Trump voters or the 20 million registered voters who couldnβt be bothered to check a box.
The Treaty of the Danish West Indies (1916) not only transferred the islands to the US (for $25 million) but also included an agreement for the US to cede interests in Greenland.
Seasonal flows vary from a thundering torrent in winter and spring to a gentler, more intimate ribbon in late summer, but at any time the site conveys the quiet, rugged beauty typical of Skamania Countyβs wilderness. WyβEast (Mt Hood) makes an appearance on the horizon.
A moderate trail leads to viewpoints that reveal both the upper tiers and a powerful main drop, making it accessible for visitors seeking memorable compositions at sunrise or late afternoon alpenglow.
Plunging over moss-covered basalt and framed by old-growth evergreens and ferns, the falls offer photographers and hikers a classic Pacific Northwest scene: veils of white water, deep green canopies, and often a soft mist that creates fleeting rainbows in the right light.

Once the road opens there can be drifts of 20' or more and you will frequently find skiers and snowboarders playing in the snow.
This shot was taken from Chinook Pass on the border between Yakima and Pierce Counties. Chinook Pass closes during the winter due to snow and it usually takes about 2 months for crews to clear away the snow so the road can open by Memorial day.
At 14,411' above sea level Tahoma ranks 17th tallest mountain in the US but with 13,210' of prominence it ranks #1 in the contiguous US and #4 in the US for topographical prominence, in other words, it sticks out and above everything around it.

One thing not discussed is the permanence of satellites, meaning they are designed to fall back to earth after just a few years. Thatβs a very expensive rig just to last a relatively short time.
