This is looking very nice! Good job! :)
This is looking very nice! Good job! :)
I went to #laravellivedk last year. My first conf. This year my workplace is sponsorering the event π₯
Are you going?
Weβre excited to announce @johannesguent.bsky.socialΒ π©πͺΒ as a speaker at Laravel Live Denmark! Known for his passion for open-source and smooth developer experiences, Johannes will bring fresh insights to the stage.
My starter-kit now already has 210 installs - thank you all :)
Personally, I have already used it on two projects that are in production.
I'm on track for creating a install command that will install Stripe subscription capabilities from the get go.

I'm ready! Are you?
Nice! Great :)
Here's my default boot method in the AppServiceProvider, these days - got any other suggestions?
Wrote about my oppionated Livewire starter kit with roles, permissions and localization the other day. Didn't expect it to get so many stars as it has on such short time π
Everytime. That autocomplete is too great to miss out on π
Now, If only one could speak dutch :) :)
I just updated the kit to include the command to create a super admin user: github.com/mortenebak/l...
Or do you mean an actual release? I made it available as a "template" repository. That's how I tend to use it π
I think I just need to port over a command for making an user with super admin role. Otherwise it should be ready π
Yes. Its totally easy using spatie's permissions package. I use it all the time π
With massive thanks to the new Starter Kits, I've begun to make my own oppionated starter kit for my projects. Usually customers want granulated permission control with roles and permissions.

So here it is - still wip - feedback is welcomed
Those of you that have gone from Windows/Linux to Mac, how long did it take for you to gain "new" muscle memory of keys and their "new" position when programming? Did you change any key bindings? I'm afraid of losing my current "productivity" by getting a Mac
Du skal være velkommen :) Hvem er du hos nu?
Vi sΓΈger faktisk PHP udviklere lige pt :)
Nej, bor I Randers. Jeg er pΓ₯ kontoret stort set hver dag dog. Men vi har folk der arbejder 2 dage pΓ₯ kontoret og 3 dage hjemme, osv :)
Jo jo - har vΓ¦ret her i 7 Γ₯r efterhΓ₯nden :)
π Onwards and up with @statamic π (... and more incoming!)
It's friday and it's finally time to launch a client site in @Statamic again. This time it's Den Rytmiske HΓΈjskole, a danish music school. It has loads of custom sets, sets within sets, dynamically setting colors on text and buttons according to their new brand guide.
In the next few weeks we'll be kicking off work on new Laravel starter kits. Here's what I'm thinking...
I don't think the starter kits should be packages. Instead, I think they should just be GitHub repositories you clone. All of the code lives in your application, no "install" commands. π¨
No better feeling!
I can't wait to try Laravel Cloud π«£π₯
When using @statamic.bsky.social's built in Glide functionality, I'd recommend changing the default image manipulation driver from 'gd' to 'imagick'. Why? I find it to conserve the colors/saturation better:
Nice! Do you plan to make a video about it? I'd love to hear more :)
Recently created my first video on many many years. I shared it on YouTube. I wanted to show how I go about making a "Page Builder" in Statamic, so that my clients have some kind of control of how they "build" a page.
