I had the exact same thought. This dude is all about technical accuracy and instructional design and that image is just.. such a bad attempt at deconstruction.. it would hinder learning to do as he says here. It's not just tone deaf. It's also bewildering.

Does he take any supplements? Vitamin B6 toxicity causes neuropathy symptoms like that. Non-b6 supplements often still include more than the RDI of B6. Big uptick in cases recently. Australian article but it's an international problem:
