Any time I see some dev and publisher pop out of nowhere with basically no prior game dev history and projects like this, I usually just assume it's some subsidiary of an Asian megacorp.

Chinese rip-off games have a level of confidence that they'll get away with intellectual material theft more than any other genre on the market.

I miss when I didn't know what games were coming out unless they were in my very specific sphere of interest and I would just go to a Walmart and look at all the DS games and just randomly buy one because it looked cool and have it become a formative game.
