Iβm maybe a little too excited about the holiday reading I picked out this year. Big thanks to Pablo Galvez Hernandez for the rec.
Any other fun #ImplementationScience and #RealistTheory mechanisms related books or papers folks are jazzed about?

Great to see these recos which align with some of the evidence.
Flag 1 for me: While thereβs attention to the patient and inter professional teams in the report, recommendations themselves are largely clinician centric.
Love the focus on co-design. But letβs make sure everyone needed is there.
Stream 3: Advancing methodological tools and approaches.
This one builds on some work and thinking started here (also with Jay Shaw), and is getting further advanced through work with my team in advancing rapid qualitative methods.

Stream 2: Developing tools and frameworks to inform implementation and practice.
A new project funded thru @AMSHealthcare (co-leads Jay Shaw and Marissa Bird) will support us and our Consortium to build and validate a tool to align DH implementation to values in #integratedcare . Stay tuned!
To achieve this objective I've been advancing three streams of work.
Stream 1: Building knowledge through empirical studies of digital health implementation.
Here's one I'm super excited about:

Building on a foundation of #ImplementationScience #Evaluation and #DesignThinking I work with local and international multidisciplinary teams to generate knowledge that enables us to use #DigitalHealth innovations to support delivery of high-quality #PersonCentred care.
In 2022 I was awarded a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Implementing Digital Health Innovation at #SinaiHealth and #UniversityofToronto
Hereβs what Iβve been working on (and will continue to move forward) with the opportunity:
