Working with @sedlazeck.bsky.social and his group on exploring the utility of Constellation has been amazing. So happy to see this preprint out!

Working on Constellation mapped reads technology has been one of the most rewarding experiences I've had as a scientist so far. So excited to see this animation describing how it works.

To somehow pretend that AI is different than any academic or other effort undertaken by a person where you incorporate the knowledge of others to generate new ideas is...I mean, that's just stupid. The rules did not change. They were broken, repeatedly.
Some of these responses ate very gaslighting adjacent. When you copy someone's work verbatim, that is plagiarism. When you use someone's work without citation, that is...also plagiarism. And that's when the work is published and part of the public record!
Check out this blog post on Constellation mapped read technology! Exciting times at Illumina :-)

We get to work with some very talented folks here at Illumina. It's definitely one of the perks of the job ๐ Looking forward to seeing their application!
It's an option, yes :-) I'm remote myself
The Genome Informatics team is hiring! We are a smart, fun, and creative team that is working on the cutting edge of bioinformatics, including Constellation read mapping, an exciting new technology from Illumina enabling long range information from short reads. Also, Vitor is an awesome manager :-)
I am incredibly proud of the work being done by the bioinformatics and assay team to enable Constellation mapped read technology. I feel very fortunate to work with such bright and talented people :-)
