At the end of the introduction for "K FOR THE WAY," Todd Craig invites you to "embark on a sonic and literary research ride orchestrated by two turntables, a mixer, and the vast and rich historical landscape that comes with it." We invite you to do the same by grabbing an AWARD-WINNING copy at #4C26

"Adequacy as the timber of utopic envisioning. What might it look like to imagine labor beyond as it is typically understood within the contexts of higher education?"

Get thee a partner who will buy you a cameo of an aging rockstar singing Teenage Dirtbag at times incredibly off key (but I love it)

Ulysses Annotated by Don Gifford - Paper Scholarship is a powerful tool for changing how people think, plan, and govern. By giving voice to bright minds and bold ideas, we seek to foster understanding and drive progressive change.

Of course! Though I will admit that most of the annotations are basically directly paraphrased from the Gifford, so you might just be better off just buying that instead of squinting at my handwriting 😂 tinyurl.com/52z2dbac

OK but what is your most heavily annotated book? This is my undergrad copy of Ulysses in case you needed proof that I was uncool in college.

Northanger Abbey will always be my favorite Austen because the moral of the story is Don't Read Trashy Books Or You Might Actually Die

Thank you to @katecarp.bsky.social for having me on to demystify book publicity! I had so much fun yapping about it all and I’m glad we ended on the hill I will die on: books will ALWAYS matter. Culture doesn’t move without ideas and ideas still start on the page.

I wasn't on old Twitter! But I'm definitely still grumpy about the CONCOMITANT scandal from a few days ago. Pitchforks. Torches.

Will never stop being annoyed that AARGH is somehow an accepted 🐝 word but perfectly respectable terms like FOMITE and PIPA are not

Sad reality is that so much of institutional library $ goes to STM journals published by large (& arguably predatory) commercial publishers. So this is your regular reminder to tell your uni that buying high quality UP books in the humanities & social sciences is also an important research priority!
