Drop something BLACK & WHITE π€π€
Today ended spectacularly for me.
I hope you find happiness and excitement, too.
I am not excited for the day.
That said, I'm feeling better than I have in a while.
The Crying Game > The Waiting Game
Very cool. I like how both aspects inform each other.
Is it cultural- elves are that precise, or physiological, that they simply need the time to make it stick?
Go Greyhounds!
A screen shot from Cambridge Dictionary for the word "Kakistocracy." Defined as "a government that is ruled by the least suitable, able, or experienced people in a state or country."
It's Armageddon but I did learn a new word recently.
Mazel tov!!
Drop something red
I'm back!
Did I miss anything?

Day 28
Danny doesn't see any economic impact from the war in Empaeria.
It does affect life here as evil grows and influences aessence across the veil.

...Makes perfect sense.
I put an "As you wish" in my current WIP.
Is it indicative? Probably not, but it's there.
When I was a kid, we called backpacks bookbags. I'm reclaiming the terminology.

Day 27
Danny's one encounter with a king lands him in the dungeon.
He visits the vice-principal's office a couple times at school. Mr. Sanders has him on a perpetual warning against bad behavior.

Day 26
Empaeria is at war with at least one major city under siege.

This is important. π
That moment when you hear a song, one that was everywhere (Everywhere!) so long ago, one you haven't listened to since.
And the opening strains hit with the full weight of youth and summer and the passage of time.

Day 25
Empaeria is at war.
Lia and Ms. G describe it as a war between light and darkness.
Enzo shows Danny that there is far more nuance than that, and Horalt of the Eldest hints that generations of prejudice has influenced the fighting.

Drop a crush from your youth.

Day 24
As far as Danny can tell, different places in Empaeria are governed different ways. The cervad have a king. The Eldest seem to govern the Margrave Terrace. He doesn't see the rulers of Clemunz, just the city guard.

Drop something WOODEN πͺ΅πͺΎπ€πͺποΈ
I can only hope after a busy and anxious weekend that the hard work I've done for myself and my community comes to fruition.
It's out of my hands now.

Day 23
The Eldest govern the Margrave Terrace, a hidden city.
Danny has a deep conversation with Horalt of the Eldest.

Day 22 (Catch Up)
The only ruler Danny meets is King Rusza in Cervadel.
It does not go well.

Day 21
Danny doesn't encounter any Empaeria-specific laws (or customs) .....yet.
