Sometimes I still draw while traveling. And traveling, I do that a lot! Have a pen sketch of a jackal.

A tiger I sketched as a gift for hospital my roomate.
A little turtle ink sketch I did for a friend during my hospital stay. Some really lovely people there gave me so much joy, it was a pleasure to return their kindness somehow.
A fun ink sketch of a borzoi I did while in the hospital.
Well, therapy is no holiday. I've had a very painful realization before making this drawing. My feelings were so complex I couldn't make out wether it's anger, sadness, or something else, just unstoppably crying for long periods of time, and I couldn't even say what for.
Another drawing done at the hospital. I've had a few nightmares going on, this guy visiting me whenever I've had low episodes. Nights in a half-awakened state when the outside world is a blur, and my inner one is numb, my unconcious conjures up very dark things.
A fast sketch from January when I had intense somathic pains due to my worsening mental state.
I wasn't sure to draw my dog-like nightmare creature, or myself in a way, so it's kind of a mash between the two. One thing is sure; it's out of pure emotion.
Sketch I did while staying in a psychotheraphic hospital. It's one of the best experiences in my life, but man, isn't it hard. Nightmares come and go.
Civil protest in Hungary, 16th of February. This was the first I went to, me and many more. I actually feel like I have faith in my people for the very first time.

An adventurer discovering a huge Anubis statue in a hidden underground cave.
Made for a drawing group where we get weekly prompts. This one was "adventure".
Sometimes I miss those old stories that were all about the sense wonder, ancient cultures and mysteries.
Very old drawing of my village witch sitting (probably sleeping) on a chair. I should do stuff with this character more often, maybe redesign her. I'm a sucker for slavic folktales, for some reason they feel so cozy for me.
Baba Yaga, watercolour.

Some alien beings from previous years I drew with black ballpoint pens, felt tips, markers, and brush pens.

Ballpoint-pen scribble of my dogo
Made very long ago for a weekly prompt (in a drawing group) "human or animal". So naturally, I did a dogman-like figure.
I tried to imagine what it would be like to see a figure such as this sitting on the roadside, and as you get closer, you can't decide if you're seeing a human or something else.
An early drawing of my black dog-esque creature. He is inspired by the Navajo skinwalkers legends, but evolved to be something else. In the early version, he still had animal pelts around his shoulders. Right now he is the symbol of visceral fear and the instinctual nature of a person.
Made for a weekly prompt in a facebook art group. The theme was "golem". I've had quite much fun with it! I tried to interpret the birth of a golem in a sort of tragic way.
Drawn on sleepless nights. I have stomach problems, and I guess what art is for other then expressing yourself, what you feel? This is something of that sort. In the heavy numbness of your being sudden sharp sensations flash through your insides, not letting you fall into sweet slumber.
Painted while giving up sleep as the effect of my on-going insomnia. I tried to interpret how that feels; - being a sick shell of a person, hollow on the inside, but feeling everything very heightened, yet dull at the same time.
Made for an old goretober prompt "ritualistic sacrifice".
I've never drawn a hare-creature before this, and I was delighted to discover the unique shapes of this animal. As someone coming from eastern europe, I tried to sneak in some local supersitions with the missing hare feet and chicken legs.
Fast ink scribble of a wolfdog
