thanks - the sequencing is actually more like on the recent ones, euclidean sequencers, although i tend to layer them / run them out of sync / combine them with other probabilistic things in my Max patch, this is doing a bit less

such a wonderful book. Funnily enough it awoke my appetite for polar exploration books. I also read Charlie Jane Anders "The City in the Middle of the Night" and Nicola Griffith's "Ammonite" soon after, and both area great companion pieces (also featuring long journeys across alien planets).
I love Talk Talk as much as the next man but it definitely isn't running music. They were playing it on NTS on my run to work yesterday and I found myself staggering in a melancholic daze in an ancient Hackney churchyard, and was subsequently late to work. Yes I will be writing to my MP to complain.
