thanks - the sequencing is actually more like on the recent ones, euclidean sequencers, although i tend to layer them / run them out of sync / combine them with other probabilistic things in my Max patch, this is doing a bit less

Not looked at rnbo. started from the ground up with javascript and tone js, then realised React seems to make a lot of sense for interactive audio stuff
I want to hear! version 2 will have asynchronous loops and control of the effects, for the heads
This is amazing. Only been playing with it for 3 minutes and I've already come up with some nice new things (might release them for Bandcamp Friday ho ho).

been reworking my Dane Law Max patches into JavaScript (and React) and ended up making this little synth / sequencer.

The flaw in his argument is that horses have chosen to go to school / uni. I work in HE and 30 per cent of intake is horses.

Had a weird dream I was staying at @fire-toolz.bsky.social house last night and her and her friends were all much cooler than me, which is no doubt true.
Anyway, my dream has prompted me to remind you to check out Angel's glorious, immersive mess of headsound

blue forty-six: Dane Law
Simply one of the most popular releases in Blue Tapes' 14-year history.
I love Kaffe, was sharing her work in a lecture last week. I made some Max patches for her sound installations back in the day!

such a wonderful book. Funnily enough it awoke my appetite for polar exploration books. I also read Charlie Jane Anders "The City in the Middle of the Night" and Nicola Griffith's "Ammonite" soon after, and both area great companion pieces (also featuring long journeys across alien planets).
I love Talk Talk as much as the next man but it definitely isn't running music. They were playing it on NTS on my run to work yesterday and I found myself staggering in a melancholic daze in an ancient Hackney churchyard, and was subsequently late to work. Yes I will be writing to my MP to complain.
The 2026 Barkley Marathons is over. There are no finishers. #BM100
