My next project will be redoing how the grid is made so we can fit in a dedicated Favorite Mega box and prepare for Gen 10 looming on the horizon.
The Gen 9 Gimmick Box, containing RetroNC's mega sprites.
As of this morning, the picker now supports all the Z-A megas, including shinies~ The Gen 9 Mega sprites used have all been made by RetroNC: www.youtube.com/@retronc
They are by RetroNC, linked in the credits section: www.youtube.com/@retronc
Was a bug with the mode-switcher, he's back up there now~
Yes, I will be making the bottom section 8x3 by adding Favorite Mega, Grass Girl, Furfrou, and a fourth box I'm still split on.
That extra red stuff makes this Kyurem White Overdrive
Everyone's favorite Alcremie is Caramel Swirl Alcremie with Love Sweets, I assume.
As a Cherrim on top, sprites will now show their names on hover, even all those Alcremie forms.
The only Z-A specific update here is that Surplus Mode allows Chikorita, Pignite, and Totodile lines in Gen 9 Starter, but any new additions will make it on the site in time. (6/6)
Silly Mode unlocking the Genesect forms and Overdrive Kyurem forms.
Silly Mode unlocking the middle stages and Duraladon for Favorite Pseudo.
In Silly Mode, I've pulled out all the stops. You want GMax Pikachu to be your Gen 1 Starter? Is Chill Drive Genesect your pick for Gen 5 Legend? Are you thirsty for Poltchageist as your Gen 8 Gimmick Form? Do you demand Duraludon as your Favorite Pseudo? This is the mode for you! (5/6)
Surplus Mode adds the Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile lines to Gen 8 Starter, the Rowlett, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott lines to Gen 7 Starter, and Espeon and Umbreon to Gen 2 Starter.
Surplus Mode adds the fully evolved version of Favorite Mammal, Bird, and Bug, and the base form of Favorite Pseudo.
Surplus Mode also fills in some niche options elsewhere, such as picking PLA Cyndaquil as your Gen 8 starter, Colosseum's Espeon or Umbreon for Gen 3 starter, or picking the fully evolved version of the regional bug or bird. (4/6)
In Surplus Mode, Megas, Regional forms, and GMaxes will be added to the type columns of their base form. In Standard Mode, Megas+GMaxes appear in the Gimmick column for their base's gen, while the rest appear in their release gen. In Surplus, they're all in both! (3/6)
Strict Mode removing the Megas and Furfrous from Gen 6 Normal.
Strict Mode removing the Cosplay and Hat Pikachus from Favorite Pikaclone.
Strict Mode retains all the Vivillon in Favorite Vivillon, though not Gen 6 Flying and Bug.
In Strict Mode, Gimmick forms are restricted to the Gimmick column, and the PokeStar opponents and other minor forms are removed from the grid. The dedicated sections such as Favorite Vivillon will retain the minor forms. (2/6)
An example of Strict Mode, removing Unown B-Z from Gen 2 Psychic.
An example of Surplus Mode, adding Megas, GMaxes, and Regional forms to Gen 1 Normal.
An example of Silly Mode, adding all 18 Arceus to Gen 4 Legend.
Introducing Strict, Surplus, and Silly Modes! You can switch between these and Standard from a new dropdown at the top of the page. This modifies which Pokemon are available in each cell to accommodate many of the suggestions I've gotten over time that I didn't want to make standard: (1/6)
there's only been some bugfixes in the last few months, but we'll be getting updates for ZA soon
Regional Grass Girls, Bellossom, Roserade, Cherrim, Lilligant, Whimsicott, Florges, Tsareena, Eldegoss, and Arboliva
Decent odds the Pokepicker will need to add a Favorite Mega box soon, so looking for suggestions for more categories to join it! Top contenders so far are Favorite Furfrou, Generation mechanic, and Regional Grass Girl, any others you'd like to see?
COLOSSAL KICKOFF is a 1-vs-3 arcade soccer game, where a powerful Monster with awesome abilities faces off against a team of three human Warriors! And it's coming soon to PC!
