Distractions. Deficits. Wrong direction.
After six years of the UCP, life is not getting better for Albertans. It’s time to focus on real priorities: health care, education, and affordability.

This is what many, many Albertans are thinking - Premier Smith and the UCP waste money and blame everyone else.

Last night I was at Festival Hall for Block Heater and had an incredible time! Lindi Ortega and MOONRIIVR delivered fantastic performances. I also took a walk through the Plus 15 Gallery at the Werkland Centre, a great reminder of how much creativity is thriving in our city.

I attended the celebration honouring Charles Daniels at the Grand. It was a powerful tribute, blending poetry, music, theatre and dance to recognize his courage in standing up to discrimination in 1914. Daniels legacy continues to inspire the fight for justice and equality today.

Thank you Calgary Heritage Housing for meeting. Calgary, like other places, is seeing an aging population and a scarcity of quality, affordable seniors housing. Your work in addressing the needs of tenants and providing such an essential service to Calgary seniors is valued.

Alberta teachers dismayed by proposed back-to-work order | CBC News Premier Danielle Smith announced Thursday that her government would, absent a negotiated deal at the bargaining table, pass back-to-work legislation Monday to end the strike that began Oct. 6.

Legislating teachers back to work doesn't solve any fundamental problems, it only erodes and degrades the already overcrowded and underfunded school system.
