This happened in my city during the BLM protests. Random armed unbadged police pulling people off the streets in vans. Scooping up anyone they found.

We have tried to warn everyone, he's coming for anyone who dissents it's time to get loud. Congress isn't going to save us, the people have to.

The "Middle" isn't even the middle anymore.. it's a rush to the right to protect their seats. I know.. I'm preaching to the choir here..

The fact that none of these "kids" would have been able to obtain a clearance to do this work is also a huge red flag. Who know what kind of little things they have added to these systems and not tracked or logged. There has been NO oversight. 100 percent a rebuild.

Many of us in Infosec are ringing the alarm bells as loud as we can. I have called my senators offices, actually spoken to people in @wyden.senate.gov's office and left my detailed concerns.. The issue is they don't move fast enough, this is something that has to be stopped immediately.

I have contacted the office of @wyden.senate.gov to try and have a conversation about the greater cyber security threats of the unmonitored access to government systems ordered by the president and DOGE. @jeff-merkley.bsky.social @warren.senate.gov I will be contacting your offices as well.

@warren.senate.gov There is more to this, what devices have the put into the network, how are they secured and who is vetting these devices for security risks and vulnerabilities.

This goes beyond an immediate problem, this is a bell that can not be un-rung and will cause harm for years to come.

This. Is. Illegal. Don't investigate, go get an FBI agent, DC Police, Capitol Police, US Marshall.... Someone with arrest power and have anyone that is not a Treasury employee or federal agent that has access to this system and arrest them under the CFAA.. you have arrested hackers for less.

It's almost like if you put a Fox News host in charge of the defense department he only wants his friends to see what he's doing... Hrmm.

@wyden.senate.gov I would like to know what they are doing with this data and what right they think they have to have it. This is theft plain and simple and should be a violation of the CFAA. Musk is not an elected official, nor is he a part of a federal agency...
