Right? I love my instant pot. I used to buy them as gifts for others under a "nono, it's not a 'cook for me' thing - just...just try this." And get others hooked on it. And now...*sigh*
Battery storage tech is an interesting one - I wouldn't say it has improved, as costs have gone up. (It's a wheelhouse.) Also charge calculations are not better-just better at best guess.

It's never "we found out how to extend the life of our product for x years..." and instead "we found out that we can make it out of shitter metals and save a few cents while charging the same."
Seriously. I can't remember a time a service has actually improved. Sure, more features are added - but that doesn't really mean more bells and whistles have improved the product.
