Profiting from nature destruction? Part one.
From parched rivers to endangered grasslands, a recurring theme of profitable backroom deals follows Angus Taylor into his new role as leader of the federal Liberal Party.

It’s taken 20 years, but we’ve passed peak gas in homes Today, there are fewer eastern Australian homes burning fossil gas than there were yesterday. Congratulations to many of you. We’ve passed “peak gas home”! In this article, I highlight the hard, exhau...

Polluting gas is bad for our health, our environment AND our hip pocket.

For the first time, renewable energy is supplying most of our power Renewables became the dominant energy supply for an entire quarter in the final three months of last year, helping the grid skate through the early days of a scorching summer.

For the first time renewable energy is supplying most of Australia's power 👏

The naysayers will keep shifting the goalposts, but they're always proven wrong.

This is the biggest rewrite of these laws in a generation – what happens next will determine whether they finally start protecting nature, or lock in decades of more destruction.

This is a critical moment, and we only have a few days to act.

The Albanese Government’s sweeping reforms to Australia’s environment laws are headed to the Senate this week. To pass, the government must strike a deal with the Coalition or the Greens, and it’s pushing to force a vote in the coming days.

"Disabled people deserve to be able to access the benefits of nature, outdoors spaces, and physical recreation, just like everyone else."

On The Nationals recent decision to formally abandon their commitment to net zero: serious parties in this country need a credible plan to slash our climate pollution and build the clean energy and industry we need. A responsible government plans for the future - not just the next election cycle.
Regional Australians are already being hit hard by climate change, through fires, floods, droughts and rising costs. Communities on the frontlines deserve leaders who are helping them adapt and thrive, not politicians who deny what’s happening and side with coal and gas corporations.
Cutting pollution isn’t optional. It’s about protecting nature, safeguarding livelihoods and ensuring Australia remains a place where people can live and work safely.

Sadly this dodgy group, Rainforest Reserves Australia, is being weaponised by climate deniers, has been cited by the Nationals leader David Littleproud & is being loudly amplified in the Murdoch media.

It's just another chapter in the fossil fuel industry's playbook to spread lies.
