I know the big buzzword topic of late is "media literacy", but like .. it's really hard to ignore just how BAD people are at comprehending even the most entry level media, especially if it doesn't cater to their exact whims.

I know the value and importance of digital media, but damn if I'm not overjoyed at the ability to access an entire collection of games that would have otherwise not exist in its entirety by being available digitally. I get to heal something in me I didn't realize was hurting.
I burst into tears when I found my all time FAVORITE childhood game, Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise, was one of them. I couldn't remember what it was called, but I distinctly remembered the gameplay. These sweet little kids games taught me puzzle solving and skills I apply to more complex games.
I know the world is really dark right now and in the grand scheme of things this might not mean much, but I found not one or two, but the ENTIRE collection of Humongous Entertainment PC games on Steam. I've been looking for them for YEARS. My inner child feels a little bit more whole tonight.
