Trump administration waging illegal war on Iran, experts say
You now seem to agree that there is, obviously, such a thing as international law. That was the only issue I had with you original post.
Certainly, when powerful European states are selective in their support of international law it tends to erode the legitimacy of the entire system. In this respect, the problem began long ago, and got worse after 9/11. Even so, international law does not disappear when it is broken or ignored.
No comment on the German politics angle. Just answered your question/comment re: the non-existence of the law. It is a dangerous time to be saying that there is no law; that plays into their hands.
The law of the sea, the law of immunities, the law of jurisdiction, transnational criminal law, international trade law, international environmental law, international human rights law, the law of treaties, the law of international organizations, etc., etc., is the legal systen they mean.
No Senator Wong the legality isn't a matter for the US and Israel to determine, it is the responsibility of the international community to speak up when blatant disregard for international law takes place. So it is absolutely a question for Australia to be addressing unless you support aggression
The American Society of International Law says that the US attack on Iran is illegal.

Not sure how I feel about Vientos this year #Mets
Yeah, and he just looks cool as a Met.
Team needed to be rebuilt, as much as I loved those guys, they had opportunities to get it done and couldn't.
Yeah we were a bad baseball team for long periods last season.
He was v good!

What a game, incredible win and many congratulations #Seattle
Many congratulations to the #bluejays #canada #mlb
But even if they get in, will they even do anything in the postseason? Nah.
Can you think of a team that is desperate for his 35HR and average 1B play that can and will pay him what he wants?
Ok, I understand ypur point, now. Lgm!
I think we all agree the offence will be built around Soto (maybe Lindor/Soto/Pete)- but the issues we have are on defence/pitching. Should we consider swagger and attitude in trades and draft moves? My point is that I don't quite get how Soto's brilliance impacts our strategy re: defence troubles.
What does it mean to build a team around a RF? Genuine question. How does that translate to what happens in the off season. My view is that we just need solid pitching. We've had like 30 quality starts from this group.
Yes, clear water between him and Sproat/Maclean

There's a good piece here.

And what a play there to retire the side before the run crossed home plate!
Yeah, but not over yet.
Yes, it's been streaky, but I'm hoping our offence is getting hot at the right moment.
Agree. Will be a rollercoaster tonight, I feel.
Very sad news, sorry for your loss.
