My dad was very good friends with two Hungarian guys - who were twins. He affectionately called them "the bozgor" and "Mr Bozgor", all in politically incorrect good humour.

I think Baby M enjoyed the art gallery.
They're calling it the Badlose effect.
If you're looking to insult Orban specifically, though, I'd rather just use Hungarian profanity.
Such as "menj a picsaba" - which roughly translates as, let's say, "climb back onto the wretched hole you came from upon your birth", where "wretched hole" is meant very anatomically.
"Bozgor"

Also heard "boanghen" - also used as a slur against Transylvanians from the rest of the country.
(and Transylvanians call the rest of the country, especially Bucharesters, "mitici" - from the plural of the diminutive of Dumitru, a name more common in Muntenia.
Went to the Withworth Gallery for Art Baby. Before going in, since Baby M is sound asleep, I popped into an exhibition about women on textile design.
The thing with traditions and scripts is that they're sort of there when you don't have a specific preference, you just want something nice.
Like for example if two women get married - do both have bridesmaids? Separate hen dos? Etc. The answer invariably seemed to be "buggered if we know, you work out what you prefer.
When the Sweetie and I got married in 2023 I got a bit immersed in online brides/wedding planning online communities, and ofc some ppl there were LGBTQ+.
Was interesting to notice how lesbian or gay couples have much less in the way of "this is what you're supposed to do" traditional scripts.
Just scrolling through having not had my coffee this morning:
"Type of homosexual...the married man.... Wait wasn't that before gay marriage became legal?".
Oooh good point
Neither cats nor ladies are particularly inclined to put up with his bullshit, so figures.
Side note, but it is still striking how little Reform actually look like the rest of Britain in basically any polling and yet their base is treated as quintessentially authentic.
Oh, and one more thing.
I'm guessing "cat ladies" is supos to mean some kind of "childless and/or unmarried" of sorts.
But lemme tell you - since Baby M's birth I've been really immersed in the community of Levenshulme mums doing mum & baby activities - and they don't rate BadLose either.
Cat ladies, eh?
Mabel and Silas too are glad to see BadLose chased out of Levy with his tail between his legs.
Her defeating BadLose shows her competence in dealing with cesspools and bilge.
I've just started reading "Haven't you heard?" while breastfeeding Baby M.
"It's clear that Britain is split along two axes. Age, education, gender and ethnicity determine whether voters fall in the broad left or right "blocs". But within each bloc, voters are divided by their affluence."
Are they the same social class?
How do their future expectations influence their political behaviour?
One is a recent uni or master's graduate. They may be working in the cafe while doing an unpaid internship and applying for entry level professional jobs.
The other one left school at 16.
First person expects they will eventually get onto a career track, though it may be hard. Second does not.
Beyond voting intention, it's interesting to think about where class sits at the intersection of income, education and age/ life stage.
Suppose two people who are both working minimum wage in a local cafe, and both rent a room in a houseshare.
Look what I got here for Matty : {π»}
Very anecdotal so take it with a grain of salt:
I walk A LOT with Baby M in the pram. Pretty sure I've seen more Vote Labour signs in Longsight than in Levy or Burnage, which were full of Vote Green ones. Also Muslim-owned businesses were a bit more likely to have Vote Labour posters.
Is that the book he ate live on TV?
I was wondering :
Suppose you have the skills and money to do a full renovation, how would you make it safe to go in there and do the work?
NEW: Six out of ten new EU city buses were zero-emission in 2025, led by four countries where 100% of new buses were battery-electric: Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia & Latvia.
Thatβs a huge leap from just 12% in 2019 when the EU adopted the Clean Vehicles Directive.

Both engineers. Maternal Grandpa worked on the electricity grid and paternal Grandpa on construction sites.
My Grandmas were: engineer in agricultural improvements (paternal) and STEM teacher (maternal).
What. A. Douche.
Story time, y'all, about the time I witnessed nearly this exact scenario play out in real time.
It's 2003 or 2004. Serena, Venus, Anna Kournikova, and Brenda Shultz-McCarthy played an indoor exhibition event at Rupp Arena.
Both Williams sisters had won majors at this point. π§΅/x
I think Mango does some colourful suits like that
