Going to get a drink with the barbee
This morning I look in the mirror, at the sky, at my coffee as I drink it in my home, and my life is nothing like I ever thought it would be. And the man in the mirror is stronger in ways I never thought were possible. Blessed.

This is a big win for making Jason fun again.
On my walk this morning I saw this place where they made the meandering sidewalk kind of ornamental with thinner slices and earth in between. My first thought was “hop across those!” My second thought was “but I’m an adult and other adults are out here.” Then I did it anyway.
I hope today I get followed by more people following 50k ppl.

Maybe it’s a little bit of avoiding the discomfort of stage fright? Of making a mistake on speakers in front of a ton of people? Afraid of asshole backseat DJs who think they are better than you?
It’s interesting how we develop limiting beliefs based in “reality.” For me, I’m not sure why I developed this belief. Maybe I don’t think I’ve “put in the work,” I “don’t deserve it.” While I certainly haven’t worked hard enough to make it to Ibiza yet, why couldn’t play at a club in a year?
I don’t want to become a pro dj, but it would be fun to just play some bars or something. I dunno what it takes exactly but I’m following all the local djs to see what’s up. At worst maybe I can make a few new friends?
Last night I created a dj insta. I’ve realized for a long time I’ve been a “bedroom dj” and just assumed I would never be able to play more than some house parties I did in college bc I have a “real” job. But after having some friends and therapist challenge me… maybe I could?
It’s a phone in sick, do some yard work and go to a coffee shop to write sort of day.

It then went into heat and started bleeding everywhere. That was a bit chaotic.
I had some strange dream last night where I somehow got a pet miniature baby antelope or gazelle type thing and it was trotting around my noise and it was so cute.

Yeah… it’s a lot lol. Probably only going to fill them when doing long minimalistic techno sets. You can route effects into open channels which is pretty fun to play with so far. I want to some drum machines and synths to the setup eventually so it’s a forward thinking investment.
