If you can see the MacBook Neo for what it is and how much it costs, then there are just zero complaints. Nice work Apple.

Iβve been waiting for the release of version 3 ASICS Superblasts (https://www.asics.com/au/en-au/superblast-3/p/AOP_1013A177-400.html?size=10&width=Standard) for a while now, today I put my order in. Canβt wait to take them for a run.
This is a great read (unfortunately a substack feed) from the Learning Dispatch about how notifications disrupt cognitive processing for up to seven seconds (https://carlhendrick.substack.com/p/how-much-cognitive-damage-does-a?r=3okzrb&utm_medium=ios&triedRedirect=true). A good time to reduce more o
Does anyone have any recommendations for new tech podcasts that arenβt hosted by old guys who want their computers to be like they were 10 years ago and just keep complaining when stuff changes? I think I went through this years ago with the Twit network and I ended up finding Connected (The Promp
ATP host whining about Apple design like they know what they are talking about, then they share their home screen setups. Their justification seems like they donβt even know how iOS even works.
Looks like Anthropic is going to be the test case for Big Tech not doing what stump wants.
I have just cancelled my Carrot Weather subscription. Iβve been a user for so long but Iβve got a new app lined up, which is working great. Hopefully an Apple Watch version will be released sooner rather than later as that is something I use often. My sub expires March 26 π«£
Today I started working on an Agent that gives critically analysis of idea that a teacher might have for using AI in the classroom and tell them if it adds any education value or should they just use good teaching practice.
Stopped using 1Password year ago, I survived.
This Summertime Sounds Playlist by CYRIL (https://music.apple.com/au/album/summertime-sounds-2026-cyril-dj-mix/1855482802?l=en-GB) could be my new running to when I want to go fast.
My daughter just got asked by Roblox to prove her age with a photo. Her account is managed by me through parent controls where I have already set her age. I did not authorise Roblox taking a photo of my child. Iβm not impressed.
Got me some βvoicesβ in #TapestryApp. π«³π€
I convinced my Apple Watch that Thursday is a rest day.
I may have called it too soon but there is definitely something about this app. https://indieweb.social/@tg/116027118435216544
I think that new Current app is an example of what our vibe coded future might be like. A great concept, lacking execution. Happy to be corrected.
I got a great update to one of offices today (I have 2) with a new monitor stand. Luckily where I work we have an onsite carpenter and he made this in a day. Itβs helped me get some better organisation as I now share this space with 2 others. Iβd recommend zooming in to see my cool knickknacks.
Someone told me today that I remind them of the Ghoul from the Fallout TV show. She did say it was more the real life actor but it was cool either way. Walton Goggins is a pretty great actor.
I was excited to see a new take on RSS with an App called Currents (https://www.terrygodier.com/current) but unfortunately itβs not for me. It looks nice but in practice suffers with speed.
After using my iPad Pro for much of the work day, I kinda like it and I was curious about upgrading to a current model. The one I have is a M1 11β (3rd Gen 2021) which still puts it ahead of a new iPad Air and comparatively it is still a great device even to the current Pro. I think I will stick w
I think for the first time ever I have left my work laptop at home. Seemingly my iPad is doing the job. Plugged into display, same keyboard and mouse and I am barely noticing a difference.
Tinted icons are so nice. I am changing the colour regular to match different parts of the wallpaper I am using. iOS 26 really did give awesome homescreen customisation.
I am going to give Freeform a go as a more flexible notes system when planning and organising. Notes has its place but I like the hybrid nature of Freeform. In quick testing it syncs super fast and has great tools.
With Apple sponsoring and heavily promoting the Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime show, one that carried a strong political message and drew criticism from a wellβknown public figure, Iβm assuming most tech blogs and podcasts will point this out and comment that Apple may not be as aligned with that
I can finish the day with The Mist complete. Now Iβm ready for Phantom.
I beat The Last Judge in Silksong twice today because I stood too close after the battle the first time. π€¦ββοΈ
Now Iβm trying to get through The Mist without one of those bloody Angel things killing me.

Gemmell also feels the orange iPhone is orange to honour the βthe orange manβ. You know the insult nickname of Trump. Itβs why I stopped following him a while ago. It looks like he still needs to step back and realise there is a lot going on in the world. People make decisions that we do not f
I had to help a normal person with a Samsung Flip save a PDF yesterday and we both had no idea what to do. Which app to go to the Internet, where that app saved the file and even which app to open the file. I hope Apple never gets regulated enough that this is acceptable. She left saying that next t
