Isaiah has recently become obsessed with Pokemon and it’s the first time I’ve actually seen him want to bring a stuffed toy everywhere with him. We started with Charmander, but of course we had to get him more…
(However, I think Gengar is his favorite Pokemon at the moment!)
Was holding a container of blueberries at the grocery store this morning, and as I went to pay, I popped the lid open and spilled blueberries everywhere.
I think that’s a fair representation of how well I’m holding everything together today 😭
Been playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure so much Joe has to ask me to lower the brightness on my Switch so he can sleep. Whoops.
My second loaf turned out pretty OK! Such an investment of time, but seems like Joe and Isaiah are enjoying being my test tasters hehe.
This was from a few days ago, but 3 weeks after starting my starter (lol) we are ready for baking!
Now onto the fun part 😅
It has been an insanely busy past few months! Exhausted but feeling so so happy and honored to be a part of this journey in celebrating 25 years of The Sims.

As an update, I still haven’t made bread yet but my starter is definitely at the point where it’s almost overflowing every 12 hours. The progress itself is exciting!
But now I should probably figure out a good recipe so I don’t mess it up haha.
Day 9? Slow and steady but we’re still bubbly! Also moved to a different container because the mason jar was getting annoying lol.
Going to take my time with this, even though some people have said to buy a starter. All part of the experience 😊

Just a reminder to hold your loved ones close, and to let them know how much you care ♥️ While we never know what lays ahead for any of us, at least we can create more meaningful moments and interactions while we’re here.
Losing a loved one is always hard, and as I’ve gotten older, it has taught me to take more time to call just to say “I love you”, or visit family just because. No special occasion needed. Because time is precious, and definitely something we take for granted every day.
Joe and I looked at our Spotify wrapped and confirmed our accounts no longer belong to us, they belong to Isaiah lol. (Yes, we are big Bluey fans!)
We had ramen for dinner last night and all I keep thinking about is how I want more for breakfast 😩
Lol my face was swollen from all the crying and at one point I couldn’t see what I was doing through the tears 😂 It def felt like torture for a good 10 minutes.
