Have you read this novel-in-verse? Itβs relevant, sincere, and real.

Have you read this book? I want to add it to our elementary library soon. Itβs definitely a window for our young readers.
What a lovely graphic novel! Artwork and text combine beautifully to share biography and poetry of Emily Dickinson.
Executive Orders are not laws.
They are not legally binding.
They are a way for a President to signal their interpretation of actual laws. And if they're not blatantly unconstitutional, they can have some force in the executive branch.
They cannot take over the legislative or judicial powers.
We have participated in MBM for many years. The best result is kids loving books because we give teachers access to them beginning in mid February so classes are ready to vote during the first week of March. Adding those PBs to our school library is positive for everyone.
Amazing book! The comparison to Ramona drew me in, but this character is different because she gets in trouble, but we know why. She gives us all her thoughts, worries, and frustrations. Sheβs so real. I read this book in almost one sittingβhighly recommend it. Now I need to retry ITCH. #MGlit

Such an amazing book! I loved it, even though my heart was breaking.

Canβt wait!
This book is gripping and real. I could not stop reading. Thank you for sharing real experiences.
I hope your reading and teaching life is rewarding. It was your previous messaging that (1) confirmed my teaching style and philosophy and (2) inspired me to became a wannabe elementary librarian after I retired.
I like this approach. Itβs less complicated than what Iβve been doing in past years. I appreciate giving kids reason to vote beyond just βwhich book do you like bestβ.
This is important to know, but β6 fingers, really?
My first class of Kinders started right off with lots more energy than listening to a read aloud required.
Well deserved appointment!

Yes! Please include me in K-3 resources.
Found object art featuring a broken red-orange crayon. Out of the broken bits, we see an illustration of a joyous young girl leaping out, arms outstretched. Below her is an open book.
Best way to get young people to invest their time in reading is to be willing to invest time in it ourselves.

I usually do Caldecott contenders with Gr3-4, and Iβm still collecting and previewing books. Your K-2 kids might like THIS IS A STORY (Schu), ONCE UPON A BOOK (Lin), EVERGREEN (Cordell), BENEATH (Doerrfeld), NELL PLANTS A TREE (Wynter), MY POWERFUL HAIR(Lindstrom), A CROWN FOR CORINA (Kemp).
