I haven’t seen anyone talk about this but. ICYMI they started deploying LRAD devices in Minnesota this week.
These are sonic cannons used to disorient and disperse crowds.
Prolonged exposure can lead to permenant hearing loss, ruptured eardrums and debilitating headaches. Crazy.

At a fundamental level, ALL drawings are made up of just lines. To improve (especially) line art, take the time to practice single lines, hatching, line weight, etc.
Also, don't forget to warm up your hands b4 practicing!

1) Be open discomfort.
2) Try not to be a passive seller.
Standing behind a table, literally selling your work 1:1 can feel really weird & exhausting (especially for multi day events)
- but being approachable and willing to talk about your craft for hours at a time is what brings in success.

This is such good advice. At the end of the day other artists are not your competition -- especially if you're not selling a project.
There will always be enough attention to go around and running your own race is the only way to move forward.

I cannot stress this enough: What's happening right now with Twitter / Grok and AI editing is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen on the internet. Full stop.
And a lot of people don't even know it's happening.
A ton of artists pushed back when the feature first dropped and it went nowhere.
