canβt wait for Ryan Murphy to read this and turn it into a miniseries starring a twink from Riverdale or something
This was a great piece, and a great song. Just added it to a playlist of mine Iβve been putting it on repeat.
A chalk sign at a bar called the Tap Room with several beers on tap including Pliny the Day Elder
ever since I created this username itβs been a tradition to post a pic anytime I see Pliny the Elder (or Younger) out in the real world
Remembering that great post where a gay playwright created a detailed queer history for Statler and Waldorf β not a gay couple, but two old queens whoβd been in each otherβs lives for decades. Such a gorgeous little vignette.

I had two books delivered to my work today, one without incident. The other was an empty, open envelope that was missing Austin Kleonβs STEAL LIKE AN ARTIST.
Not sure I can send a mass email to my co-workers complaining that my copy of STEAL LIKE AN ARTIST was stolen.
Oh, Cleo!
I have to say that you bringing Showgirls back is a huge reassurance to me β€οΈ
A Kennedy center website listing showing an 11-night (!) run for Shen Yun in January 2026
I love that the Kennedy Centerβs response to all the artists canceling has been to just have Shen Yun there every night
I know which cafeteria you are talking about β itβs been years but I still remember some great food there
My copy arrived yesterday and I canβt wait to read it

Itβs a shame. Iβve hard time making a regular practice of posting here, which isnβt helping my experience.
I donated to Fredoβs Cycle to Zero fundraiser this weekend, and Iβd encourage you to do so too if you have anything to spare at this time of year.

I would get some tees from the Castro β the GLBT Historical Society Museum has some that I love, and Welcome Castro has a selection to look through. Baseball hats are easy because you can swap them out
This is so great β the Roxie theater has had a few Carol Day screenings the last couple of years, so I love that it has gotten a little bigger. Too bad the Castro Theatre isnβt available yet.
I love that San Francisco is turning Carol Day into a holiday tradition.
Oooh, and Viola from the latest season of UK can be on too.
I remember reading about this in the local alt weekly in college and wandering into the art house theater that was playing it β I was not prepared!
Without you saying anything β and without me seeing the movie β I suspect I know which character this has to be
