for not particular reasons apart that I am a Dragon Ball fan

Every video game that ends being a functional and fun piece of software is already monumental achievement, but Expedition 33 is a marvel and a miracle. And it is the best thing I played this year so far (with very high competion). And the most french one ever
well, historically, just sending a strongly worded letter can work

I think I am in trouble
XBox tells me this about Blue Prince. Either I am very bad at puzzles, or it is a lie. Probably it is both
These days I usually drink to forget. Today, I will drink to celebrate
Perhaps the Gamers are alright
true, but there is still the non-zero chance that they actually made a huge mistake that could cost them much more.
After all, we are not really talking about geniuses here...

At this rate, EU will be at war with USA in about a month
Here in Europe, we are still in the slow part. We can still stop it, but I am genuinely afraid we are fast approaching the point of no return
Not the way I dreamt to go back to Nosgoth, but I am not going to complain for the opportunity
Got a game-locking bug almost at the end of Indiana Jones, but the game is so good I am not even mad
No YouTube, I do not want to watch a video from another random weirdo explaining me how to save the game industry by listening to "gamers (TM)"
The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.
lol
@danaenight.bsky.social one day I want your opinion of my much younger level designer self

It has been 10 years since I made my last custom Tomb Raider level. With everything that happened since, professionally or not, it is feels more than a lifetime ago. Crazy that the community there is still strong
I suspect running RPG sessions is fundamental to keep me sane (and the crazier the game, the better)
I am having a lot of fun personally, but sometimes I get "uh?" moments
The sad part of being a gameplay programmer is that you do not get to show the stuff you are proud of to many people. "I made a very flexible equipment system" is not as sexy as a random concept art
This place reminds me a lot the first days of social networks. I hope it stays like that for a long time
Question for game devs out there. How did you start? In my case, it was Age of Empires mission editor when I was 8, but the Tomb Raider Level Editor was what really pushed me in this rabbit hole.

In the darkest days, I always remember the beginning of the prayer of Teresa de Γvila:
"Let nothing disturb you, nothing frighten you, All things are passing."
Not sure if beauty can save the world, or at least gaming, but for sure it saved my week-end
It was a great party :)
