I love that the Bloodroot typo from the Azalea armory deck is now canon #fabtcg

It used to be that I'd light up if a friend or customer asked me about Elestrals because I truly believed in the game and thought they had some cool ideas. But now if someone asks me about it I'd genuinely feel irresponsible to suggest they invest time, energy, or money into it. Really unfortunate.

Hard to feel anything other than rugpulled by looking at the Kickstarter update from Elestrals Clash today. $500K Kickstarter for a bare bones digital client and never got the full promised card pool. Seems like a lot of bad agreements and partners, but I can't recommend a game I can't trust.

We've started to raffle off Antiquity Packs at each of our weekly Flesh and Blood Armories, and at our first SAGE event- local regular player Sadat pulled the Eye of Ophidia- one of the rarest cards in the set and an awesome $400 pull for one of our regulars!

Bio says you live in Olympia, if that's Olympia Washington, then the greater PNW is chock full of FAB players! Seattle and Portland are the two big strongholds, but I know there's Paradox Trading Post out in Olympia that I"m pretty sure is one of the FAB spots in that part of Washington!

I really need to know how much of S./Ship of Theseus was his involvement and how much was him paying to slap a name on because I had such a fun time with that book that it's genuinely hard to reconcile with is film output

I saved the antiquity pack for last and I think my hands have only just now properly stopped shaking. Just wow! Feels doubly fitting since I got to go to the Retailer Summit at worlds and be one of the first people to see the spoiler for this EA treatment of Tunic. #fabtcg

Lets gooo!!!!

The don system is very hearthstone resources and the game has recently survived a big power spike and we're getting massively unique leaders now. Like croc is a control deck that cant use removal. But in turn has an insane grind game.

It's a really satisfying game! A lot of bandai games have so much mechanical bloat and complexity, whereas I feel like OPTCG is their most streamline game. It kinda has shades of FaB of wanting to maximize defensive value and no dedicated "combat phase" to do all attacks at once.

Got to play my first OPTCG locals in a while last night! I'm very rusty, but had a blast! I'm really happy with where the meta is rn and the new Croc deck is so cool. Definitely glad to pick it back up as my secondary game alongside FaB! Especially if locals keeps getting 37 players on a Thursday

In the not so distant future we'll be calling these "A Short Hike-likes"

If anyone I know plays assassin and ever hits a Wailer Humperdink off this and plays it, please let me know immediately so I can live vicariously through you, because that's all I can imagine after seeing this card #fabtcg

I still have that love and motivation for the game, but I've been stretched thin while also feeling like I'm in the PEN waiting room.

...if this were a SAGE BH tbh I'd probably be forcing myself to play no matter what lolol.

I think the winning move for this BH is to not play main event- I'm just not ready for it rn. I've had an incredibly busy few months and haven't had the practice time I wanted and needed. My three deck choices are all pretty complex and it's just not resonsible to enter a BH with so few recent reps.

I just love seeing such a young talent have such fun with their composition and layout. Hokozono has gotten real comfy and confident in what he does real fast and it's a treat seeing him just draw out the most cinematic energy you can from still images
