Did one for my grandpa but want to shout out my badass grandma. She lived in tents and worked on farm lands in grade school. In high school and her early 20s she worked repairing damaged military planes during the day and worked beauty pageants looking like a baddie at night.
The older I get the more I realize how ass backwards things have gotten. He was able to work there his whole adult life, afford a nice house and pay for his kids to go to college, all while working a job that now couldn't afford a house in the same area.
