They're a large species in terms of height/length but are relatively lithe witha long snake like body, 5 sets of limbs and a primarily cartilaginous skeleton.
On their home planet, they are sedentary to preserve as much energy as possible. Only moving when needed.

Story Lore: The Tharg originated on a planet that begin in a trinary solar sytem, but was ejected. The planet managed to retain its large moon and the tidal force kept the subterranean areas warm enough for life to continue.

Story Lore: Vessels are categorized by Mass, which is based off of bird stages of development, Capability, what the vessel can travel, and general purpose, which is named according to various bird genuses.
EG: FOSP= Fledge, Orbit to stellar range, Passer/Civilian
With 4 sets of limbs, they are the same shoulder height as a Great Dane. Princes have one set of limbs replaced with wings, capable of limited flight.
The inspiration for them was Spanish Merchants. They dress richly, often with large volume collars and jewelled bands.

Story lore: The Rings of Jupiter are not made of stellar material, but from the trailing lights of traveling shuttles, orbiting docks, and gas refineries as they scoop material from the planet. Glowing radiators can be seen like hot coals as the Industry of Sol churns.

Story Lore: Silhouetted by stars, Pluto sits at the proverbial edge of Sol. The observatories that make use of it's distance from the Sun to chart the sky for Humanites exploration outward. The scant sun and starlight glint off mryiads of detectors and telescopes.
Very much so, it's probably the largest reason I don't frequent streams much at all.
