I had a meds review for my #chronicpain and dosages have been tweaked.

This week, I have managed to type up some serial fiction, and I've started a "chapter sketch".

I hope to have new Qal'ath content out early next week.

Thank you. It's #Fibromyalgia in my case, and I have a medication review this week because all my pain has done over the last two months has got worse and worse.

It's hard getting anything done, isn't it?

Be careful in "pushing through" that you don't crash harder later.

I hadn't intended on being of social media this long. My chronic pain and fatigue have been frustrating and I've ended up crashing out on the sofa, rather than out in the office.

And I had forgotten I'd removed the Bluesky app from my phone. I don't even remember why.

I've been #writing though.

I've had my head in some woodwork the last few days, but my brain is whirring on a few story elements coming up in The Cleansing.

Next week I have to sit down and do some planning for a new novel-length piece. With the way my tales work, more coffee than normal will be needed!

I really hope #WorldAnvil bring some of their awesome article editor upgrades to Manuscripts.

I have to remind myself sometimes that WA is primarily a World-building site, and they can't bring all their awesome features to every aspect, just because I want to use Manuscript /and/ Article format.

After some thought, I've finally made a couple of episodes of "The Cleansing" public on Ko-Fi.

Findat's diplomatic team are camped in Nakasz Clearing in the woods. Veman and Vider have been sent to do the supposedly simple task of collecting firewood.

Latest #OC #sketch is of Farynna. This is in a chronicle I'm still planning, but have some scenes drafted already.

"Linking" is how mages communicate audibly and visually. But when a mage contacts someone who has never linked before, the pain is almost unbearable.

After a long silence here and on WorldAnvil, I have finally been able to progress my #writing.

With being away, I could not plan the chronicle I intended. However, I have progressed my #serialfiction.

I've published it for #Patreon access only for the time being.

Hey #WritingCommunity, although I'm not over this month-long illness, I am now slowly getting back into #writing.

My other half told me to "get the story out of my head" that has been in it for 7 years and only then to work on other things.

I'm currently summarising the first "book".

It's messy🤦

Minor edit: Previews are "subscriber" exclusive, so that you can choose Patreon or Ko-Fi and receive the same benefit.

I also intend to continue my serial fiction so that come public fiction comes out occasionally.

Whether anyone reads it, I completed "Skirmishes and Schisms" on @worldanvil.com and I have another full novel draft on my computer called "Wrenched".

To say this month's been "hard" is something of an understatement.

It feels like life and everything else is out to stop me from writing or drawing. I have started a drawing, but it's nowhere near finished.

And that's not the same as settling to actually #writing.

I know I'm not here often anyway, but I've been ill most of this week, which has the "bonus" of aggravating my #ChronicPain.

He is carrying an enormous backpack because he and a diplomatic team are currently trekking through a forest in my ongoing story.

Now I've passed my hand-drawn #sketch through #GIMP filters, I can show you my sketch of Findat. He's currently leading a small diplomatic team through Shanvér Woods to where their allies, the Aevyormii, live.

And no, at this point in history, they don't have quicker transport.

This is a "building" episode, as in things are fairly calm. If you discount Naja nearly trampling down Vider's highly sophisticated and irreplaceable lantern anyway.

While feeling ill, I've been working on #drawing a couple of characters for my #writing. Not sharable...yet.

My challenges:

- The same male character in formal wear and at a different angle in camping/outdoor wear.

- The same female character but at two different ages because of when she appears.

Hey, most of my family have come down with some bug or other and it's aggravated my own long-term health issue.

But after food, caffeine and meds, I've written a plan for the next few scenes of my serial fiction and started writing.

I'm also partway through drawing Findat.

Progress🙂.
