Yes, this remake is awful and derivative.
But I will die on the hill that Jackie was amazing as Freddy. Even his make-up. Shame the film wasn't better.
Call me crazy, but I found this one inferior to the Game Boy games.
It looks fantastic, though.
I always wanted to play this one but I don't like motion controls and the game's stupidly expensive.

Look, you can bitch and moan about how "bad" and "confusing" "The Matrix Reloaded" (Wachowskis, 2003) was but you cannot deny that the freeway chase with it's techno-pumping score, wasn't fucking epic.
