Hello
Just got notice that our family health team is losing a doc. A friend’s kid in elementary school has had four teachers since September. I don’t want to read about tax cuts.
If only. (This was the early 90s, so having a leg tattoo was slightly more remarkable.)
During my undergrad, a guy showed up at a party my roommates and I had who told us he “only read Bukowski.” Each time he said “Bukowsi,” he’d lift his pant leg slightly to display a tattoo on his shin.

It’s a selfie I took a few days ago.
And it’s always the one five feet from my sixteen-year-old, who sleeps soundly through it until I open the battery cover.
Glad people are OK.
Also, this is the first bit of breaking news I’ve gleaned from Bluesky. Take that, Elmo.
Always

I am happy to have poems in the special summer poetry issue of the Fiddlehead. Here’s one of them.
Is this the Twitter replacement deserving of effort?
