We just wrapped up an absolutely amazing D&D campaign, and I'm working on an epilogue for my paladin. Homebrew ways to make the Protection fighting style applicable ended up really damn fun. Maybe training others in a new oath, after stopping a world ending calamity with his friends and all that.
Had a few more RSVPs for my birthday this weekend than expected. So, rather than try to go overload some restaurant with a large group I stocked up on snacks and bev. Gonna pick up some BBQ the day of and take over the building's party room. Board and video games will be enjoyed!

Put together a new shelf and it was level on the first attempt. So, I got that goin' for me today.
Tonight our D&D party made the approach to the final battle of our campaign. The various deities that we follow all granted us a boon before we crossed the precipice. This is going to be a doozie of a battle for the fate of the material plane!
I'm so stoked for the next sessions.
Taking a friend to an introductory D&D thingy tonight. They've been expressing interest for a while, and I want to see how this gathering guides new folks through the 2024 rule set.
I'm way more familiar with the 2014 rule set, and didn't want to accidentally blend the two while explaining stuff.
If you've been kinda languishing in bed do yourself a favor and freshen up the linens.
I spent my friday night building a puzzle and having a great time with a friend. It still feels so hollow, like we've done this before and it was no less full of horrors.

Had a really chill new years eve. A friend stopped by and we watched some cool anime/listened to tunes. Immensely more preferable to being out in large crowds.
Around the holidays I always get a bunch of friends wanting to chill, it's such a blessing. I wish scheduling to where we could *all* hang out was easier... but we're old now.
Future Dollywood plans with my sister and her family are in the works. I'm so stoked, haven't been since we were little.

Found a new sticker for my laptop while out and about today. The clerk even had a laugh looking at it.
Everything is bad! So, therefore Pizza Time.
Soaked some green lentils overnight for a soup later. Going to get some leeks and other veggies too. I'm gonna be thinking about soup all day.
Loving Prime 4 so far. Gotta take a break so I don't just chew through it all, that's for tomorrow.
