The bay laurel sapling that I transplanted last spring seems to be doing great! It needs regular water but it survived a hot Summer in full sun next to a fence.

The narrowleaf milkweed seems happy. This was grown from seed under a live oak, and did better than the ones that sprouted around grasses and shrubs. It seeded in September and I tossed the seeds around the yard.
Let me know how it goes! I just watered it every few days for about a month and then left it alone.
This handsome little guy is a California Buckwheat. I planted this in June by just jamming a cutting into the ground, no rooting hormone or anything.
I did this with 8 or 9 cuttings and, amazingly, 2 survived. If youβre looking for the easiest way to plant buckwheat this is probably it.
Alright, so many of you sickos have followed me in the last few days that Iβm gonna start posting again
Morel shroomie
Weβre back! Found some morels in the garden π
Here are some California Bay saplings Iβm trying to transplant. There are hundreds of these growing by the creek!
Trying my best and kinda failing to keep this thing up to date. Meanwhile, hereβs a cool pink morning glory I found growing in the orange orchard and a tiny frog by the patio
Transplanted this jeffrey pine sapling a few weeks ago, itβs doing well so far! Brought over plenty of soil from the surrounding area and mixed/covered in pine needles to maintain ph. A bear seems to have stolen the tomato cage I was using to protect it from the deer tho :|
A western sycamore sprouted next to the matilija poppy
