@base44.bsky.social can you guys remove the part of the commercial where it says “women can code?” I find that particularly offensive.

Hey it’s the comic I’ve been working on for the last few years. It’s almost funded but I need help beyond that so that I can raise enough funds to get it printed in hardback. Hardback means I can get it into libraries.
@lastweektonight.com wouldn’t it be cool if we chose one day to bombard Republican Congressmen with millions of letters that simply said “Impeach and Remove President Trump” and then one letter had like a bunch of money it, so they’d have to open up each letter to find it. Wouldn’t that be cool?
My dad used to play this all the time on CD. I had to get it on vinyl at my first opportunity.
I got the box set from Ollie’s for 50 bucks & read every volume in about 3 days. That’s the most I’ve been engaged in comics in years. It resonates because Scott is slowly becoming a man & facing the worst part of himself. The book shows that there are many angles to what makes a good or bad person.
I got to see it when we went to Disney a couple years ago. One of the better experiences we had.
Weird Al’s music is timeless. Way back in 2011 he wrote the line “our economy is in the toilet” and that’s never been more relevant.

Found a copy of Tony McMillen’s ATTA Boy at a shop in Nebraska for 8 dollars. I have an older version so this will make a nice companion piece. It’s always fun to run into your friends stuff in the wild.

I had to unplug from facebook for a while because of the constant propaganda sharing. My friends and family buying into everything they read and my urge to fight fire with fire. Not even sure if I’ll even have an audience by the time I get back.
I’m just so angry and feel helpless to do anything about it. The billionaires have got ordinary people defending the right to be a billionaire. While most people will never be billionaires themselves. It’s sick.
Help me out here. It takes 2/3rds vote for congress to pass a law without the president needing to sign it, correct? Couldn’t we the people create a law and have 2/3rds of Americans sign it? Could it then be argued that if 2/3rds of us agree on something then Congress should represent that position?
