I feel ya, there was a lot of turbulence in my personal life in the past few years and it’s gotten much better but I feel so distant from my friends that live in the same town and I don’t leave my house except to work and run errands really. So I’m working on connecting on apps like this

So again, fuck you QB. I’m a nonprofit admin, stressed to my max anyways and just wanted to enjoy a long weekend. I hope all of the execs get itchy butts for the rest of the year.
I had to spend time figuring out where the probably was (internal error, quick oils or our org’s bank) and send messages to all staff individually so I can make sure people get paid before a long holiday weekend.
Quickbooks messed up payroll-direct deposits for millions of businesses-employee globally today and did not send direct communications to employers or employees that were affected. I woke up, on my day off, to like 5 panicked texts from my staff. 🧵

It’s me, the friend you only acknowledge when we’re in homes. To be fair, we don’t leave our homes unless it’s to a diner and then we sit on the same side of the table so people definitely get the vibe we know each other
