Interesting how the GOP says back the blue all the time and then does something like this to block legal claims by injured cops (and other people).

How far will the elevator drop? He spent the weekend golfing instead of negotiating even one tariff deal which would have given the market a thread to grasp on to.
So if tomorrow is really, really bad we're calling it Orange Monday, right?
Sounds like he believed his own nonsense and it cost him everything.
Maybe Trump is a huge Mutiny on the Bounty fan.
I think they took a list and then fed it to Grok to come up with a ranking of some sort.
NH Republicans are cowards who would prefer to disenfranchise voters rather than risk going to the polls in a fair election.

Spent a couple weeks in Mexico this month. As always the hospitality is fantastic. I encountered many, many Canadians who were all wearing their maple leaf gear. Several told me they cancelled travel to Florida and came to Mexico instead.
This is some serious banana republic level nonsense. I hope that at a later date the people responsible will face consequences for this well documented corruption.

Always good to see commentary by Mitch Epner.
I started the day watching a news report on a measles outbreak in west Texas and now we have an HHS secretary who has a track record of creating outbreaks. Brilliant.
I fear this hubris combined with the systematic gutting of our intelligence agencies will inspire a generation of terrorists and cost many innocent American lives.
You beat me to it.
What is a word for an administration that resembles a kakistocracy and an oligarchy and also embraces rascism? I think this week we got our answer.... a kekistocracy.
The kids in Bad Momβs Christmas are complete brats. They deserved coal and nothing more.

Remember: every crypto executive who donated to Trump supported a crypto grifter.
If they said the words βself-policingβ or βself-regulationβ remind them that they have already demonstrated support for grifts and cannot self-regulate
βUnder South Korean law, martial law can be lifted with a majority vote in the parliament, where the opposition Democratic Party holds a majority.β
I donβt think Yoon Suk Yeol has thought this through?
Reddit is entertaining but basically watching train wrecks. People I follow are showing up here on Bluesky so I'll probably be around but overall I'm cutting back on the amount of time I spend.
I did a post election tour of the social media options since Twitter is a Nazi bar now. Threads is an algorithm driven hellscape somehow worse than Facebook. I like Spoutible but there is no critical mass.
I grew up on the Jets but when they left Shea in 1983 I washed my hands of them. Turns out that was a good decision.
I'm good with it.
And what happened at Twitter isn't a financial success story.
And limes.... gonna need a LOT of limes.
Canada must be like "WTF did we do?"
