What Iβm telling you is that demanding Dem candidates change public opinion, rather than follow public opinion, is how you lose elections.

MLK wasnβt a politician. Also he didnβt convince his followers that racism was a problem. They were already well aware of it.
Yeah maybe so, but itβs not like Trump or Ted Cruz got up there and convinced people to feel this way.
This is untrue. Trump didn't convince Republicans to be anti-immigrant. He won because that's how they already were.
When he tried to convince them to be pro-vax, he failed miserably.
Why? The US doesn't really have a stated goal. We're not trying to nation build nor conquer territory.
We could leave Iran tomorrow.
I mean, we could just leave and go home. Nothing really keeping us there.
It's telling that you think members of the American military are all white.
If you want to exclude every American whoβs ever been in the military, then youβre the one peeling it apart.
Weβre flying WW2 planes over Iran at the moment. Thatβs how badly their defenses have been crippled.
Yeah I donβt support that. I do support getting rid of the Iranian dictators.
Other than drones, I donβt think they have the capability, and there are many ways to take out drones.
Haha at least he can do an English accent.
Jim Belushi would be worse.
Itβs 25 miles across. Without a navy, how exactly can they keep it closed?
Itβs 25 miles across.
You need serious firepower to down a oil freighter from that range.
A few guys with an RPG are not gonna cut it.
Or maybe they want to defend their country and its allies. Do you hold this opinion about anyone who joined the Ukrainian army?
How is that different from WW2? Foreign country. Working class enemy soldiers. Whatβs the difference?
This is nothing like ICE. Are you saying anyone who fought in WW2 canβt be part of a political coalition? Strange how they basically formed the backbone of post war labor unions.
What about the soldiers who fought in WW2? Were they class traitors?
American soldiers arenβt asked to kill other Americans.
I donβt think liberating Kuwait or killing Bin Laden makes you a class traitor.
What? Most of them are too young to know much about politics in the first place.
Also, joining the military doesnβt automatically make you evil. What about WW2? Desert Storm? Kosovo? Etc.
How does joining the military make someone a class traitor? What are you talking about?
When did they try?
It may have been claimed, but it certainly hasn't been "establish".
Are you suggesting the US hasn't bombed Iran sufficiently?
....ok so they've manage to kill a dozen people there, and that somehow proves that they've holding back their "new age weapons"?
No, the US is not going to employ nuclear weapons to knock out some cheap drones. They have tons of better options.
Lol that's just not how war works. It's not a movie. You don't wait until your entire command structure is dead to whip out the "real weapons".
There are plenty of better, and much more cost effective ways of countering drones than using an expensive THAAD.
The US military has tons of options on that front.
Somehow I feel like the $1 trillion/year military industrial complex will find a way.
In the general?
