This is untrue. Trump didn't convince Republicans to be anti-immigrant. He won because that's how they already were.
When he tried to convince them to be pro-vax, he failed miserably.

No, the US is not going to employ nuclear weapons to knock out some cheap drones. They have tons of better options.

Lol that's just not how war works. It's not a movie. You don't wait until your entire command structure is dead to whip out the "real weapons".

There are plenty of better, and much more cost effective ways of countering drones than using an expensive THAAD.
The US military has tons of options on that front.
