It's genuinely insane that many of the newspaper columnists who cheered us into the war in Iraq are still employed at big legacy outlets cheering us into a new war with Iran.

They went to war with Iran (which nobody in America was asking for) so they could conjure an excuse to allow ICE to keep murdering Americans and teargassing schools here at home with impunity (which nobody in America was asking for).

I think that the bigger lesson is that this is ALWAYS what happens when you put businessmen in charge of art.

Examples:

· Clip art replacing graphic artists in the 1990s.
· Apple ditching Steve Jobs in the 1980s.
· Apple now that Steve Jobs is dead.
· Anything involving Activision, EA, or Ubisoft.
