Their album "The Race for Space" is a work of art. I saw them perform it live at the Albert Hall a few years ago. Amazing.

Hoping to get the keys in the next few weeks. It’ll then be a few months before it’ll be ready for the public. But might be fine for private events before then.
I only ask because I am about to open a gaming bar in Walthamstow and would love to host gaming events there.
When are you thinking of running this unConference?
D17 gaming club began just one year ago. Tonight we have almost 40 people playing games at 7 different tables.
In the D&D game I ran last night I gave my party a puzzle which they solved quite easily. It’s a bit meta but who cares. Can you figure it out?
This has to be intentional, right? #alienearth
I ran the first proper session with my new Dark All Day crew today. We're play-testing a new campaign book I hope to release for the one year anniversary of the game.
I ran the first playtest of my Dark All Day campaign book yesterday. It was mostly a session zero where the five players made their characters but we also played for a short while and set up the adventure. I'm looking forward to see where this goes.
I sometimes wonder what an archaeologist would make of my D&D notes if they found them in a thousand years.
📣 BREAKING: BAR STAFF TO STRIKE AT LONDON'S DRAUGHTS BOARD GAME BARS! 🔥

They're done playing games!
Rivers of London at D17.
I saw a strange structure near Reykjavik so took this photo out of the car window. It looks like it might be a Simon Stålenhag painting!
I'm East London but can travel!
Instead of concentrating on Dark All Day I've instead been running a West Marches D&D game at D17 in Blackhorse Road for the last few months. This is the map so far!
I'd be interested in learning more.
Blocked and reported.
After working on Dark All Day practically every day for a year and a half, it was finally released 4 months ago. And I have barely done anything with it since. But I’m starting to get the itch again and am starting to lay out the structure for a campaign book. Vampires are coming to The Sprawl.
I had a lovely time at Salute yesterday and met up with lots of old friends from Hackney Area Tabletop Enthusiasts. It was also great to see my friend's WWI game, 1918, smash its Kickstarter goal.
Who’s up for some D&D in a castle? The castle being the set from Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven.
I do this too. I created a fictional adventuring party and everytime it comes to writing the ’example of play’ section I use the same characters. By the end of the book they have become characters that you have gone on an adventure with.
I love writing the ‘example of play’ section. I think it’s one of the best ways of showing your game in action. The way I’ve written them in the past is by actually playing an encounter on my own - rolling dice and reacting to the outcome.
And tonight I’m trying out Trench Crusade. I think I like it.
Our games club, D17, at Signature Brew, in full effect this evening!
I raise you an olive and onion loaf!
Over a week into 2025. Maybe it’s time to rejoin society?
I still have the chat history. I was Germany. I don’t think I knew what I was doing!
Nice. I played an online game during lockdown. It was merciless and my nation was destroyed in the early rounds:(
Wow, I just hit 500 followers last night! For those that don’t know me - I’m Gary. By day, I work in film post-production, by night, I play ttrpg’s. Last year I started writing my own game, Dark All Day, which is now available to download for free from DriveThruRPG.
I ran a totally silly Xmas D&D one-shot last night featuring a mix of Die Hard, 80’s movies, high-fantasy and Xmas tropes. It ended with Princess Leia casting Thunderwave on Krampus Gruber who was stood on the roof of Wizard Nakatomi’s Tower. He rolled a natural 1 on his save and fell to his death.
