Carbondale Clay Centerβs concurrent NCECA exhibition, βFor the Love of Clayβ, will be on view at Salt Lake City Acting Company this week, 3/25-29. Come see me and my latest work along with the ceramic work of so many others that have shaped CCC over the years. Reception 3/27 at 6:30pm
I appreciate that input! Iβm with you, I think 5 is the winner!
Photographing work is so hard. This is the same shot with zero edits⦠the only thing changing is the position of one light
Yeeeessss!
Finished piece on the work table! I love how these pieces change so much depending on the lighting and it was a nice surprise to come in in the morning and see it catching some morning rays. Time for photographing and crating. #ceramics
Thank you! So hard to calculate as each step of the process takes weeks on its own, but it takes months to go from start to finish.
Freshly finished piece selfie βοΈ catch us at NCECA next week at the βFor the Love of Clayβ exhibition in Salt Lake City

Thank you Utah State University for having me as a visiting artist in your ceramics department yesterday, and to my friend Ian Hazard-Bill for bringing me out. So much fun experimenting with slip with the students.

2 weeks on blsky and 500 new connections feels like a good time for a reintro. Kinda digging this app and relieved to be rid of the reels and the audios and the grid. Interesting how I know almost all of my ig followers personally v on here virtually everyone is a new connection. Nice to meet yβall!
Next Saturday! So excited that my work and I will be in Mexico City during #cdmxartweek in the show #100alfarerxsdijeron at gallery Taller 36 curated by @jeronimosainz of El EngaΓ±o Casa-Ceramica. Looking forward to a great show.

I fire in a gas kiln (a geil), and usually only 1-2x a year. Iβll probably post a pic of it one of these days! It is a fun, if frustrating process :)
