One could argue he has the authority to appoint JD couchfucker as president of the United States, but that wouldn't get us any closer to not living under fascism.

Interesting that, to a liberal, expecting even something as basic as a campaign promise to prosecute traitors and war criminals is a demand to have one's ego stroked.
It sounds to me like you don't care about anything, given that you're unwilling to demand anything from your elected officials.

This thread is objective proof that Liberals love victim blaming just as much as conservatives.

I'm gonna interpret "bad" as "actively detracts from the experience" when I say Hacknet and Luck be a Landlord. I think both of those games are more enjoyable when played on mute.

The problem is that you and I simply do not have enough money for Chuck to care in the slightest that we're angry.

Please, put black text on a white background. Make it say something you want people to hear. It doesn't have to look good. It has to exist before you can make it pretty. Layout and background colors and fancy fonts all come later.

Mozilla: creates an entire programming language in an attempt to remove memory leaks
Firefox a decade later: still leaks memory like a sieve

When accounts with AI slop profiles disagree with me, it makes me think that I'm correct.

Game is also just incredibly over hyped. It's an otome game being billed as an RPG, running a watered-down version of the second most watered-down edition of dungeons and dragons. (All 6 DND 4e fans can drop their hate comment below)

NGL it feels kinda weird seeing people still playing staples of my schoolyard yugioh games like Sakaretsu Armor and Mirror Force

That is seriously spectacular. I've never seen anything like it, even in AAA games

Seriously. This isn't even really a JavaScript issue. Allowing untrusted input to be executed on the server is the issue here. Doesn't matter if the backend were written in JS, Python, or Ruby

Seriously. I've played a ton of MMORPGs in my time, the worst ones all had overworld pvp, and the best ones all lacked it.

There is, but only if you use one of the handful of Android TV boxes.

I don't believe for a second that bsky doesn't have the same Russian propaganda bot problem that Twitter does. If there's one thing Russia is good at, it's disinformation, and there's no reason they wouldn't also be on here.

I'm just imagining the temper tantrum it would throw for Chinese text being translated to German.

Confirm entering Vim mode.

Vim mode is for efficient text editing but can be quite counter-intuitive. If you're not familiar with Vim, this option might make it look like Obsidian has stopped working.

To verify that you know your way around Vim, please enter the command to quit Vim without saving below:

They don't overlap at all, really. SQL is a decent place to start, yeah. You'll wanna learn one specific dialect of SQL first, then you can apply those skills to other databases. PostgreSQL has a good tutorial series, and that version of the database is very popular.

It's tough to say. On the one-hand, a bachelor's degree will get your foot in the door at a lot of places, older companies especially, but CS is one of the few fields where practical skills-testing is a common part of interviews.

In that context, your best bet IMO is to go full-in on the system engineering side of things, learning languages like Bash and SQL, plus Docker and Kubernetes. That side of the tech sphere is a lot less impacted, mostly because it's just not as glamorous.
