Bluesky is the only social media I didn't cancel last year. & at the same time I started de-googling my life. I've never subscribed to any streaming (music or movies) & have never had cable so that was easy.
It's up to us. We can continue supporting the billionaires funding tRump or we can cancel & delete our prime, Facebook, Instagram, threads, x, Spotify, Uber, etc. As long as we support their businesses, they'll continue earning $ & use those earnings to fund this terror.
Your exactly right. General strikes are simply a pause & end up hurting mom & pops that are on our side. It's pointless when we're still subscribing to the companies funding tRump or generating money for x, facebook, instgram & threads that give that money to him as well.
We're the ones feeding the billionaires. Until we're willing to stop, they'll continue to win. X, facebook, instgram, threads, Amazon Prime, Spotify, Uber, etc. We all have our reasons & excuses to keep using those products. That makes them $. They give that $ to tRump & we get screwed.

I have maybe 2 friends who've done this for YEARS. But in the last year almost everyone I know began doing it. Even people who appeared to be doing alright financially.
Just yesterday my power company emailed me assuring me my prices have decreased when I could've sworn they've gone up. But never fear, they're doing ALL they can to keep prices low because they care about people. 🙄 What a convenience this story comes out today. 🤔
