It's finally happening! After over 2 years, I'm doing another Blendini Land Grab! I am selling 8 plots in the city and you will all share a drawing.

$85 per plot. Write a comment or DM me to reserve. First-come-first-serve so don't delay! It may be the cheapest real estate you can get πŸ™‚

The "Blendini Land Grabs" that I've done in the past have been a blast. Since each person purchased land in the drawings, I've gotten to know many people through these efforts.

I'm a big believer that it's the people that shape the city, and so it's been cool to bring real people into the world.

Editorial: SEPTA bailout shows need for permanent transportation funding solution Gov. Josh Shapiro’s bailout of the struggling Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), using federal funds that had been set aside...

β€œFor years, PennDOT has studied possible solutions for the 21st-century economy, from mileage-based fees on vehicle usage to leveraging E-ZPass and toll-by-plate technology on more roads and highways. In the end, making those who use roads the most responsible for funding them makes the most sense.”

Flashback to when we are able to build and display a 3D scene of Blendini City at Dirty Frank's. Took about 3 weeks to build! Thankful for the opportunity, thankful for great communal dive bars, and thankful for everyone that has supported my fantasy city of the future so far!

PA in general is one of the best falls! big tree variety and somewhat temperate climate means lots of colors and a long lasting season. Sadly Wissahickon is basically done but Center City was pretty popping still (tells you a lot about the heat island effect)

congrats! it doesn't seem like the engagement on here is very good yet, but that just might be how I'm seeing it

A beautiful turret and house in Columbia Heights. I love turrets like this & they're a big inspiration for my Hat District neighborhood in Blendini City as they look like they are wearing hats! :)

Columbia Heights is definitely one of my favorite DC neighborhoods. What's your favorite neighborhood?

Subway without a doubt. The one-seat ride to Center City is a critical part to make the project as worthwhile as possible.

I love the photos that Tracie Kitt took of my performance at True Tales from the Tombs. It's been a long time since I've acted in anything! Being an actor was a big part of my life in high school & college, where I built up a lot of charisma, a skill that has guided me as the Mayor of Blendini City!

This is one of the few isometric drawings I've done of the city. You can see tons of variety in both neighborhoods. Variety is the spice of life in Blendini City! There’s a variety of uses that coexist in the same area. Part of this is because of smart traffic planning & the balanced housing types.

I guess they're just assuming the worst with the funding. Let's prove them wrong!

Breaking News: PennDOT has released cost and daily ridership estimates for the Route for Change project.

We're confident the estimated costs for the Roosevelt Boulevard Subway will decrease as the plans are refined and optimized.

(2/2) It's very egalitarian in the sense that many neighborhoods are served with great movie houses, pinball machines, and dive bars with activities to do in addition to drinking.

(1/2) An ode to Portland OR's pinball scene: Pinball is everywhere in this city. It's a true pinball place where machines are just a common occurrence. I wish Philly had a true scene like Portland does (I feel the same way about movie theaters).

This Blendini City scene takes place on the Duffy Parkway. The Parkway itself has 1 local lane in each direction for cars/express buses & bikes, and then there are two more in the middle of the tree median for multimodal express travel. The Parkway is laid out so it works for a lot of people!

We did it! Our Blendini City project on The Pink Church is now complete! The eyes have been painted, and the side windows are completed. Now this little guy has truly come alive as a real-life Blendini building. Feels great to do art in the public realm, especially on buildings that are being saved!
